Cedar Creek Parkway: Construction Update 2
Work is continuing on resealing and restoring the stone walls of the reflecting ponds near the Rose Gardens. I am glad to see it happening. Over the past few weeks I have watched as stones have been removed, cleaned, and returned to their places and resealed.

Andrew - I hope you blog about the potential plans to log South Mountain. I am very curious to hear what you think of this situation.

Sorry to go off-topic, but the subject is apparently very dire.
I will, as soon as anything becomes finalized. I don't want to jump the gun on anything but I will say now that I think it is a terrible idea and sets an extremely poor example if the city is cutting down trees while the Wildlands Conservancy is trying to restore our watersheds with Riparian projects. It is a very scary proposed project.
