CCP Update 10: Completed Old Fashion Garden Path and Giuseppe

Take a look at the new paths, they're beautiful. I took my mother with me and as she is handicapped, she was excited about how easy it was for her to walk through there. Good job all involved.

I hope the old fountain returns.

Giuseppe was hard at work in the summer heat on the stone columns. He was adding the decorative stone. He told me in his thick accent: "Think of roses hanging over top, it will be beautiful." I can't wait to see his finished work.

It really is looking good down there. I spoke with a gentleman named John who agreed. He was especially happy that the work was done quickly. It has been more than interesting documenting these changes and I look forward to keeping on it as future construction continues.

Keep track of the construction here:

Thanks Michael. I've been at it for a little while now and I really hope to continue serving as a resource on the multitude of things involving our parks.

i support the gardens becoming ada compliant. if the paving stones were the best choice i'm not sure. i'm not sure how wheelchair friendly they will be, especially after frost heaves. i also question if they should have been above the grade of the garden, by about 5 inches.

It's so handy that Molovinsky knows everything.
